Build around the design and editing workflow
A custom theme can be appropriate when an off-the-shelf layout does not fit. We identify page types and editing responsibilities before preparing templates.
Make content updates clear
Repeated sections, images and components are defined in the administration interface. The aim is to let the site manager make everyday changes without editing code.
Possible deliverables
- Home and inner-page templates
- Blog, service and custom content layouts
- Responsive navigation and accessible components
- Asset loading and performance improvements
- Installation and usage notes
Keep responsibilities separate
Presentation belongs in the theme; independent business rules are placed in plugins where appropriate. This helps preserve critical functionality when the design changes later. Required WooCommerce compatibility is tested separately.
Introduce changes carefully
Existing content, URLs and active plugins are reviewed before replacement. Staging checks and a release plan are agreed. Third-party licences and renewal costs are identified in the proposal.
